What we do

Unemployed people, people affected by poverty and interested parties organise themselves together in two gardens:

The Rinorosa Garden is a large family garden in the Basel-West area. Vegetables and flowers are planted on around 600 m² and a meadow invites you to linger.

The fun garden is a family garden in the Hagnau family garden area. Vegetables, flowers and lots of lavender are grown on 300 square metres. Seedlings for all the gardens are also grown in a greenhouse.

In both family gardens, garden groups meet at least once a week to garden together. Sometimes workshops, parties or excursions are also organised.

In the Schlemmergarten, solidarity is lived in an international network. The contact across national borders offers the gardeners inspiring moments. We are currently working with the following project partners:

The Schlemmergärten are open to all interested parties and different people come together.

If you are interested, you are welcome to contact the contact centre for the unemployed without obligation.
