Health Day
Hike and Qi Gong with Till Zehnder
Friday, 25 March 2022
Qi Gong: People in Asia began searching for the original source of human nature 5,000 years ago. They developed special exercises to bring the energies of the body, the Qi, into their natural balance. Qi Gong simply means "practising Qi", i.e. "practising body energies". The speciality of Qi Gong lies in the fact that the mind, body and breathing are actively connected with each other. In this way, the Qi of the organism is trained. This prevents illness, strengthens the body and prevents premature ageing.
About the person: Till Zehnder is a trained shiatsu therapist, sociocultural animator and complementary therapist. He has been professionally involved in bodywork for around 20 years, particularly martial arts, meditation and dance. During the health day, he will give us an insight into Qi Gong using simple exercises. We will hike together from Pfeffingen to Laufen (easy hike).
